Wenpei Li was born in Tai’an, China, a northern city with a mountain of long history called Mount Tai. She worked as a journalist&editor in Beijing, China. Wenpei had an MFA in illustration from Syracuse University.
Wenpei is an explorer. She uses her eyes to record the world and uses her brushes to explore the world. She loves writing non-fiction stories and taking photos.
